Outright Picks - Ladies European Tour

Tipster: Carbine

Odds: Outright

Ladies Central European Open

Result:2-1; +14.25 points  (YTD  -3.75 points)

Kreutz 1st

Fairclough T2nd

Coakley T52nd

A good result, with Kreutz firing a 5 under last round to overtake the overnight leader and run away for an easy win. Fairclough was always well up and more than justified her selection.

All plays 1.5 points in total.

Ludivine Kreutz  12/1 each way     at Skybet

Kreutz spoiled a run of 3 top five finishes last week in England when she failed to make the cut. Still, a victory in Spain and top 5's in Italy, France and Portugal make her one of the better performed players on tour this year. Add to this the fact she finished 11th at this venue last year. This is not a strong field by any imagination, and Kreutz should be right in the mix of things come Sunday.

Lora Fairclough  28/1 each way    at Skybet

Fairclough is a 6 time winner on this tour, albeit her last win came in 1999. Her recent form has been solid without ever really looking likely to win. Her last 2 starts have yielded a 12th in Portugal and a 15th in England. She looks capable of competing strongly here this week against only moderate opposition.

Rebecca Coakley  50/1 each way   at Skybet

Coakley is an Australian born rookie who now is based in Ireland. In this her first year on tour Coakley has had 2 top ten finishes in Spain and Italy and has made every cut. Last week in England she was equal leader with a round to go but let herself down with a poor final round 78. I am hoping this hasnt dented her confidence, and her previous form has shown she has the talent to compete. At 50/1 I think its worth an investment.
