Women's British Open

Result: 0-3  (-10.5 points)

Tinning lost to Doolan by 1 stroke.

Park lost to Mallon by 2 strokes.

Stanford lost to Saiki (Stanford missed the cut).

Not much luck here. Tinning lost by a single stroke after Doolan birdied the last 2 holes of the tournament, while Mallon missed the cut at 11 over but still managed to beat Park who put in her worst performence of the year to finish at 13 over.

Iben Tinning  -120  vs Wendy Doolan at 5Dimes  (4.5 points)

Doolan's last 5 stroke play events have resulted in 3 missed cuts, a 54th and a 60th. Hardly inspiring form. Tinning on the other hand is having a stellar season. Twice a winner on the LET she showed she can mix it with the LPGA players with a solid 18th at the Evian MAsters last week.

Gloria Park  -110  vs Meg Mallon  at Olympic  (3 points)

In events they have both entered this year, Park has an 11-2 advantage over Mallon. Her recent form is also strong while Mallon really struggled in France last week.

Angela Stanford  -121  vs Kim Saiki  at 5Dimes (3 points)

Stanford has run into some decent recent form, beating Saiji in their last 4 common stroke play events; and she seems to handle the pressure of the big events quite well. On the other hand Saiki's recent form has been poor with last week's 32nd placing being her best result since mid day in a stroke play event.
