Jeev Milkha Singh 2pts ew @ 8-1 (Totesport)

Bit of a boring pick but his Japanese form in recent years is rock solid (and includes two wins). He is in fine form this year and has good course form too (5th and 8th). Worth bearing in mind that he and his wife adore the country and the environment on the Japanese Tour. Indeed, it is their favourite tour which is saying something given their prodigious air mile count.

Chawalit Plaphol 0.5 pt ew @ 100-1 (Totesport, Skybet)

If Plaphol likes a course he seems to thrive there again regardless of form so his previous two outings (5th and 14th) are enough to tempt me. Made a pig's ear of his last two efforts but was in decent positions prior to the weekend so not without hope.

Final result: A strong finish gives Singh the win. +19pts
