Scandinavian Open

Summary: 2 Bets, 1 Win, 1 Loss. Profit 1.35 Pts

Bet 1 - Sell Alexander Noren over Stephen Gallacher 18H MB at 3 with
Sporting Index for 0.3 Pts.M/U -22, Profit 7.5 Pts
Stanley tips up Noren in the "outright" page but although he does seem value in the outright market he is definitely being overrated in his R1 match against Gallacher. H2H's show a very close set of results with each winning 6 of the 12 tournament matches they have had this year, with Gallacher just ahead on R1 matches. IG go 1-4 and this is probably nearer the mark.

Bet 2 - Buy Thongchai Jaidee over Fredrik Andersson Hed 18H MB at 1.5 with Spreadex for 0.3 Pts M/U -19, Loss 6.15 Pts
I was very close to ignoring this bet as Jaidee is returning from the PGA after shooting 80 in R1 and will certainly not be as fresh as his Swedish opponent. However, I am going to suggest it with the deciding factor being Andersson's form Since he had a wonderful run in April and May where he produced 3 Top 10's in a row. since then though, he has missed 3 cuts and trails Jaidee in H2Hs and R1 scores by 5-2 in each category. Jaidee is a far better player although the price allows for his travelling and the fact this is a home event for Andersson i still don't think it allows enough for the difference in ability.
