Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: 2 Bets, 1 Win, 1 Loss. Loss 5.7 Pts. Dyson wins, that's spread betting, great price but wrong result.

Tournament Trades

Buy Simon Dyson FP at 28 with IG Sport for 0.4 Pts. M/U 1, Loss 10.8 Pts
Last week we opposed Dyson and lost cash due to a FP M/U of 8. This has led to a quote this week, in an admittedly poorer event, of 28 which is just too low. Dyson averages mid 30s in FP's and this is a course unused since 1990. With no course form and current form which is good but still averages over 30 in his last 6 starts he is value to oppose at the price.

Round One Trades

Sell Lee Slattery over David Drysdale at 4 with Sporting Index for 0.2 Pts M/U -13, Profit 5.1 Pts
Head to heads show a 15-13 lead for Drysdale over 18 months and its only current form which has made the quote so one sided. A 7th at Celtic Manor and 5 cuts made in a row for the Englishman is better than Drysdale's recent form where he has flitted between the main tour and the Challenge Tour without a great deal of success. He has, though, made his last 7 cuts albeit in moderate events some times and really shouldn't be such a big outsider in this pairing.
