The Open

Summary : 1 Win 1 Loss : -8.60 Points
The lay on Woods proved a bad move as he led from Day One and never looked like being headed at any stage.

Round 3 Update

The only consolation with the Woods lay is that he is closer to the field than after the 2nd round. Garcia is 4 strokes behind and must rate a possible winner if Woods slips up. Grin and bear it at this stage.

Pre-Tournament

Lay Tiger Woods to win 3 Points @ 4.2 ---> Matched
Tiger won the last Open Championship held at St Andrews, won this years Masters and was 2nd in the US Open. Overall his credentials are hard to fault but at this price he simply has to be a lay, although he is sure to give his supporters a good run.

Lay Sergio Garcia to win 1 Point @ 24.0 ---> Matched
Garcia is one of the best players never to win a major and that brings added pressures. He looks short in the betting based upon those principles.
