Open de Espana

Final Update : 0-3 (-1.50 Points)
Dodd shot a superb last round 66 but was too far back, Lawrie was disappointing when seemingly well poised and no lays were matched. I may reduce the aggression on the lays for future events to ensure some sort of return.

Round 3 Update : Dodd has virtually no chance and Broadhurst missed the cut. Lawrie is nicely positioned just 4 shots off the lead, so lays have been added for if he continues that progress.

No course form to go on, so choosing players who are at least in decent current form with the proven ability to win. The field is not so strong with Niclas Fasth trading as favourite

0.5 Points Stephen Dodd @ 27.00 Betfair
Ranked No1 on current form, 6th two weeks ago in Estoril following up an excellent 2nd position in Dubai where but for the brilliance of Ernie Els he could have won.

0.5 Points Paul Lawrie @ 55.00 Betfair
Just pipped in Estoril where both him and Barry Lane hit the self destruct buttons over the closing holes to let Paul Broadhurst in. Wins in the Wales Open, Dunhill Links Championship and British Open show that he is no stranger to the winners enclosure.

Lay Paul Lawrie to win 3 Points @ 5.00 (Liability 12 Points) -- Unmatched
Lay Paul Lawrie to win 6 Points @ 2.00 (Liability 6 Points) -- Unmatched

0.5 Points Paul Broadhurst @ 55.00 Betfair
Winner just two weeks ago in Estoril where he benefitted from slips by the leaders, but his resolution to get back into contention had to be admired.
