Buy Miguel Angel Jimenez at 19 with
Spreadex
M/U 26, Profit 3.5 Pts. Strange week for
Miguel. After six holes on Thursday you would have backed him to miss
the cut as he was +4. From there he motored through the field to be a
possible winner going into Sunday only to shoot 73 and make us an
unexpected few points.
I am not the biggest advocate of using Course form to decide on a bet
whether in support of a player or against, but there is no getting away
from the fact that you would be 3 from 3, albeit only just by buying
Jimenez's FP at this course over the last three years. When pricing up
this event I reckoned MAJ should be around 21 to 22 so this being the
case he has to be traded at 19 when all the advantages you have being a
buyer in FP betting are working for you. Recent form sees Miguel finish
at the Semi Final stage at Wentworth and he has been on an excellent run
in the last 10 strokeplay events he has played since missing the cut at
the US Open in June. His average FP over these 10 is though is around 22
so I feel value is in the buy at the prices offered.
