Buy Anders Hansen FP at 21 with
IG Sport for 0.5 pts. MU 15.5. Profit -2.75 pts
In what is a very poor field, it may seem silly to be promoting a FP buy
but Hansen is way too short
at 21 with IG for this event. OK, his last few events would have lost
you money in this market but even
the best players don't finish in the Top 20 every week and Hansen "only"
has a 37% Top 25 record. That's
pretty good stats but not for someone priced 18-21. Buy.
Buy Alistair Forsyth FP at 28 with
Cantor
Sports for 0.5 pts. MU 39, Profit 5.5 pts
Forsyth is a player who is getting more than his fair share of MC's
these days. Admittedly when he makes
the weekend he then seems to play better, whether he gets some sort of
nervous release from doing so. In
effect it is a little like Ian Poulter a couple of years ago who tended
to be a big weekend player. Given the fact
though that he does miss nearly 2 in 5 cuts 28 is a bit too low.
Summary: A great R3 from
Hansen got him back into this from what was a strong position for us,
but Forsyth never really challenged so we made a small profit on this
tour this week.
