Faldo just seems a little high this week given the field quality. 4th
and 20th places in the summer suggest he can still cut it on this Tour

Westwood is not as good a player as Harrington, i don't think that can
be called into question. Also, Westwood is on "labour watch" as his wife
is due to give birth any day. We all know the effect Baby #1 had on
Westwood a few years ago as his game suffered badly from the time off
taken. This would suggest that he will be concentrating on the
well-being of his family more-so than his finish here especially with
his Ryder Cup place assured. Harrington has been poor of late but this
is a grip-it-and-rip-it course where he may get the chance to get his
form back without the fear of the fairways in front of him being too
tight for his current confidence level. |
