Spread Picks - European Tour

Tipsters: Andy & Shaker

BMW International Open

Tournament Trades (Andy)

Summary: 12.5 pt Loss
Poor week that ends two days early. Harrington's body language is worrying going into the Ryder Cup as he looked really poor this week. Faldo just didn't do it simple as that.

Finishing positions: (0.5pt stake)

Sell Nick Faldo @ 39 with Spreadex M/U 50, Loss 5.5 pts
Faldo just seems a little high this week given the field quality. 4th and 20th places in the summer suggest he can still cut it on this Tour and with a known downside of 5.5pts it is a risk worth taking.

72 Hole Match Bets (0.5pt stake)

Sell Lee Westwood over Padraig Harrington @ 0 with
Cantor Sports M/U 14, Loss 7 pts
Westwood is not as good a player as Harrington, i don't think that can be called into question. Also, Westwood is on "labour watch" as his wife is due to give birth any day. We all know the effect Baby #1 had on Westwood a few years ago as his game suffered badly from the time off taken. This would suggest that he will be concentrating on the well-being of his family more-so than his finish here especially with his Ryder Cup place assured. Harrington has been poor of late but this is a grip-it-and-rip-it course where he may get the chance to get his form back without the fear of the fairways in front of him being too tight for his current confidence level.
