Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: 3 Bets, 2 Wins, 1 Loss. Profit 12.12 Pts.

Tournament Trades

Buy Mark James over Sam Torrance 72H MB at 0.75 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 22, Profit 10.63 Pts

Buy Eduardo Romero over Peter Jacobsen 72H MB at 0.75 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 17, Profit 8.12 Pts

Buy Tom Watson over Loren Roberts 72H MB at 0.75 with IG Sport for 0.5 Pts M/U 14, Loss 6.63 Pts

Reasons:

The fact that this is a local event to me and that I will be there to follow the action is not the reason for putting up Seniors bets this week but purely the fact that in all three bets advised, the picked player should be clear favourite. James has taken to Seniors golf much better than Torrance and has good vibes with the course having finished 4th here in the Open of 94'. Watson has a 14/1/22/1 record in this event, one of the "1"s being here at Turnberry where of course he won the "big" Open in 1977. Roberts is a younger fitter player and would be a heavy favourite on a target golf course in the States, but this is Scotland and the weather may be ready to turn. Romero, finally has a 2/9/1/4 record on this tour as opposed to Jacobsen who struggled to a tie for 56th in his one appearance on this tour. This is easily the best bet of the three.
