Now that he has demonstrated that he is back to his best it should pay to side with Mason while the odds still justify it. Mason is the true class of the tour, but up until last week had shown only average form this year, a result of him suffering from a persistent back injury. However a recent trip to a physiotherapist has eased the problem and if he can cope with the strain of playing in two consecutive weeks then he has a great chance to come in again. He has shown good previous course form by finishing 6th in 2003 and performed superbly last week and we are taking the 6/1 as a value price for someone who and has won 27% of his starts on this tour.
