Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: 3 Bets, 1 Win, 2 Losses. Loss 10.53 Pts

Bet 1 - Sell Nick Dougherty over Lee Westwood 72H MB at 0.05 with
Sporting Index / Bet HiLo for 0.6 Pts M/U -1, Profit 0.57 Pts
0-1.5 normally but an extra 5% using the "matchmakers" option online, this seems one of the few value trades on the outright offers in what is a very weak event. Dougherty, admittedly, has better form in the region but overall Westwood leads Dougherty in matches by 11-3 in 12 months and this possibly hasn't been factored into the price.

Bet 2 - Buy Simon Yates over Mark Pilkington 18H MB at 1.5 with Sporting Index / Bet HiLo for 0.3 Pts M/U -34, Loss 10.65 Pts
Yates has made his name on the Asian Tour and has achieved 11 Top 20 finishes in two full years on this tour, which is far better than Pilkington who in the same time span has started 5 events never finishing better than 31st.

Bet 3 - Sell James Heath over Jung-Yul Suk 18H MB at -1.5 with
IG Sport for 0.3 Pts. M/U 0, Loss 0.45 Pts
A 5th place a few weeks back in Indonesia is fair form for Suk, and he generally plays well on this tour, making the cut in 11 of his last 12 starts. Heath finished 8th in that same Indonesian event but in 5 other starts, his best finish is 69th and he missed last weeks cut in the sub standard Singapore event.
