Spread Betting News (Sporting Index)

Summary: 2 Bets, 2 Losses. Loss 14.1 Pts

Bet 1 - Sell Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano over Frankie Minoza 18H MB at 3 with Sporting Index for 0.3 Pts M/U 16, Loss 3.9 Pts

A missed cut last week in China for Minoza gives him a rather generous start of 3 pts against the Spaniard in R1 this week. Gonzalo, this year, has finishes of cut/70/54/61/23 in 5 starts whereas Minoza offers a 1st and 2nd in eight starts. Admittedly his form is at its lowest over the last few weeks but when absorbing all the available info a 3pt start is just too much.

Bet 2 - Sell Jean-Francois Lucquin over Graeme Storm 18H MB at 0 with Sporting Index for 0.3 Pts M/U 34, Loss 10.2 Pts
A 12-8 H2H lead over the last 12 months with the extra filter of Asia form only showing a 4-2 lead shows Storm may possibly be worth a bet off of levels. Lucquin was 8th last week and maybe, like the bet above, more weight is being given to last week's results than should be.
